Ripon, California: Two people were hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened Monday morning near Ripon, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The collision occurred around 5:50 a.m. on Highway 120 near S Wagner Avenue.
Three vehicles were involved in the accident.
Two parties were trapped in the wreckage.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and blocked the eastbound lanes of the highway to extricate the trapped parties.
Authorities said major injuries were sustained in the crash. Two people were taken to the hospital for treatment.
