2 Police Officers, Woman Injured in Separate Crashes Wednesday Morning in Phoenix
Phoenix, Arizona: A woman and two Phoenix police officers were hospitalized after two separate collisions happened in the same area Wednesday morning.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, a woman was hit by a vehicle around 9:45 a.m. near 43rd and Peoria avenues.
Phoenix firefighters responded and transported the victim to the hospital in critical condition.
Police officers were directing traffic in the area after the accident when their patrol car was hit by another vehicle. Two officers were taken to the hospital but are expected to recover.
An investigation into the crashes is ongoing.
