2 Seriously Injured in High-Speed Crash on SR-174 in Grass Valley
Grass Valley, California: Two people were severely injured in a high-speed collision that happened Wednesday evening in Grass Valley, the California Highway Patrol said.
The wreck was reported just before 9 p.m. on southbound State Route 174, just south of Laws Ranch Cross Road.
A car was reportedly traveling at high speeds when it collided with another vehicle.
Two people got trapped inside the wreckage.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and extricated the victims. Both parties were transported to the hospital with major injuries.
Authorities are investigating to establish the cause of the crash.
