2 Students Hit and Injured by Vehicle in Mesa
Mesa, Arizona: Two teen girls were hospitalized after they were struck by a vehicle Tuesday afternoon in Mesa.
The incident was reported around 3:30 p.m. on Rio Salado Parkway, about half a mile east of Alma School Road and north of Westwood High School.
Two girls, students at the high school, were hit by a car under unclear circumstances. The girls were taken to the hospital with minor injuries and in stable condition.
The driver involved stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
