2 Students Injured After Speeding Car Crashes in Anaheim

Anaheim, California: Two students were hospitalized after a speeding driver lost control of his vehicle and careened into a group of students on the sidewalk in Anaheim.

The Anaheim Police Department said the accident occurred around 2:30 p.m. on State College Drive, near Wagner Avenue and just in front of the Anaheim Tennis Center.

A blue vehicle went out of control, hit the curb, and slammed into a utility pole next to a group of about half a dozen students. The students scrambled to get to safety.

Two students were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries but in stable condition.
