2 Trapped in Santa Barbara Crash at Carrillo and Santa Barbara Streets
Santa Barbara, California: Two people were extricated from their vehicles and taken to the hospital after a collision that happened late Friday night in Santa Barbara.
The wreck was reported around 11:30 p.m. at Carrillo Street and Santa Barbara Street.
A gray Toyota Camry and a black Chevy Suburban collided at the intersection, trapping two people.
The Santa Barbara City Fire Department responded to the scene and freed the victims.
Both patients were taken to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital by AMR ambulance in unknown conditions.
The intersection was closed until around 3:30 a.m. following the crash.
The Santa Barbara Police Department is investigating the crash.
