2 Women Injured in Rancho Bernardo Crash on I-15 Exit
San Diego, California: Two women were hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday morning in San Diego’s Rancho Bernardo area.
The San Diego Police Department said the accident happened at about 8:06 a.m. at Interstate 15 and Camino Del Norte.
Police said a 39-year-old woman was driving a 2005 Toyota Corolla on I-15 when she exited the freeway onto Camino Del Norte.
The woman ran a red light and made a right turn onto 14900 Camino Del Norte.
She ended up hitting a 2020 BMW X3 that entered the intersection on a green light with a 57-year-old woman behind the wheel.
Both women were taken to an area hospital with multiple fractures. Paramedics said their injuries were non-life-threatening.
Authorities are investigating the collision.
