3 Hospitalized After Apple Valley Crash on Stoddard Wells Road and Outer Highway 15
Apple Valley, California: Three people were airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries after a pickup truck collided with a semi-truck Monday morning in Apple Valley.
The vehicles collided around 11:17 a.m. at Stoddard Wells Road and Outer Highway 15, near Interstate 15.
A gray Ford F-150 pickup truck and a Volvo semi-truck were involved in the collision.
First responders found the big rig with front-end damage on the driver’s side, and the pickup truck on the dirt shoulder of the northbound I-15 Stoddard Wells Road off-ramp.
One person was trapped in the wreckage and required extrication.
The Apple Valley Fire Department freed the victim.
The trapped party and two others were taken to the Apple Valley airport by ground ambulances and then airlifted by California Highway Patrol, Mercy Air, and REACH helicopters to regional trauma centers for the treatment of serious injuries.
The cause of the collision was not immediately determined but an investigation is ongoing.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the accident happened around 9 p.m. in the area of Reseda and Victory boulevards.
The man was crossing the street in the area when he was struck by a car.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
The name of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
The driver of the car stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the accident is underway.

Huntington Beach, California – A 24-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Friday evening in Huntington Beach.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 7 p.m. on Beach Boulevard at Taylor Drive.
The Rosemead man was riding a motorcycle in the area when he collided with a car.
The man was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
