3 Hospitalized after Highland Park Crash on 110 Freeway at Avenue 43
Los Angeles, California – Three people were hospitalized with major injuries following a car crash that happened in Highland Park on Sunday morning.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the accident happened at around 7:23 a.m. on the Pasadena (110) Freeway at Avenue 43.
At least five vehicles were involved in the crash. CHP says a tree fell on the freeway after the collision.
Some people were trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated by the authorities.
Three people sustained major injuries in the crash and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The southbound lanes of the freeway were temporarily closed as the scene was processed.
More details about the crash were not released.
