3 Hurt in Sacramento County Crash on Watt Avenue
Sacramento County, California: Three men were injured, one seriously, after two vehicles collided Thursday near an intersection in Sacramento County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Watt Avenue and Adams Road.
A man in his 40s was driving a Chevrolet north on Watt Avenue, and two men in their 20s were heading south on Watt in a Toyota Camry.
Authorities said the man in the Chevy tried to make a U-turn at Adams Road and got broadsided by the Camry, causing his car to overturn.
The Chevy driver was hospitalized with major injuries.
The two occupants in the Camry were also hospitalized with complaints of pain.
Investigators said drugs and alcohol were not considered possible factors.
