3, Including 5-Month-Old Baby, Hospitalized After Fresno Crash

Fresno, California: Three people, including a 5-month-old baby, were hospitalized after a car driving the wrong way without the headlights on crashed head-on with another vehicle Wednesday night in Fresno.

The wreck was reported around 9:10 p.m. near South McCall and East Jensen avenues.

Police said the driver and sole occupant of a Chevy Impala was, for an unknown reason, traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of Jensen, and a Chevy pickup truck was traveling westbound in the westbound lanes.

The Impala did not have its headlights on and slammed head-on into the pickup truck.

The pickup truck was occupied by three people, including a 5-month-old baby. One of the occupants was hospitalized with major-to-moderate injuries. The baby was also hospitalized as a precaution, but the infant seemed to be okay.

The Impala driver was also hospitalized with major injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
