Boulder Creek, California: Three people were injured in a traffic collision that happened Friday morning in Boulder Creek, the California Highway Patrol said.

The wreck was reported around 11:51 a.m. near 16300 Highway 9.

A tan Toyota Corolla and another vehicle were involved in the collision.

The crash resulted in serious injuries. Two male occupants and a female party were among those hurt. The female victim was bleeding from the face, and her foot was stuck inside the car after the collision. Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported the victims to the hospital.

Authorities are investigating the accident.
