Bakersfield, California – Three people were hospitalized after being struck by a car during a Christmas Parade in Bakersfield on Thursday evening.
The collision was reported around 5:30 p.m. at H St and 21st St, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
A Ford F-150 pickup truck reportedly backed up and struck a group of paradegoers.
Three men were seriously injured in the accident and were taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The 72-year-old driver of the pickup truck was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
