Likely, California – Three people were injured in a car crash that happened near Likely in Modoc County on Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 11:30 a.m. on Highway 395.
Two vehicles are reported to have collided head-on in unclear circumstances.
24-year-old Greely Bautista was driving one of the cars and was airlifted to the hospital with major injuries. He was suspected of driving while intoxicated, according to the Modoc County Sheriff’s Office.
Two other people were transported to Modoc Medical Center, where they were treated and released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.

Three vehicles collided, trapping two occupants in the wreckage.
Firefighters responded to the scene and freed the victims. The patients were taken to the hospital with major injuries.

Irvine, California: 65-year-old Kenneth Joseph McLeod died after he collided with a car while riding a motorcycle Wednesday afternoon at an intersection in Irvine.
The accident was reported around 4:50 p.m. at Alton Parkway and Foster.
Investigators said McLeod was riding a motorcycle southbound on Alton when he ran a red light at Foster and crashed into a Tesla turning left from northbound Alton onto westbound Foster.
The Tesla had a green light at the time of the crash.
McLeod died at the scene from the injuries he sustained in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.

Woman on Motorized Wheelchair Hit and Injured by Car in Victorville
Victorville, California: A woman riding a motorized wheelchair was injured when she was hit by a car Thursday morning at an intersection in Victorville.
The accident was reported around 8:48 a.m. at Roy Rogers Drive and Amargosa Road.
Victorville police, firefighters, and AMR responded to the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
A man driving a black Nissan was found at the scene but it was not clear if he was the driver involved in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
