3 Injured in Hyde Park Collision on 54th Street
Hyde Park, California – Three people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened on Monday afternoon in Hyde Park.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the accident happened at around 12:15 p.m. in the 3100 block of West 54th Street, near Crenshaw High School.
A white Honda, a white Audi and a black car were involved in the collision. Officials say the collision was preceded by a shooting that hit the 48-year-old driver of the Honda and his 8-year-old son.
The father and son were transported to the hospital for treatment.
Other injured victims suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
