3 Injured in Multi-Car Pileup on Jamboree Road in Irvine
Irvine, California: A multi-vehicle collision on Jamboree Road at Main Street in Irvine sent three people to the hospital, Irvine police said.
The Orange County Fire Department responded to the intersection just after 2:20 p.m. and found two people trapped inside their cars.
The firefighters extricated the victims.
Three people were transported from the scene to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
The collision involved four vehicles, including an SUV, that acquired severe damage and overturned onto its side. The other cars sustained rear-end damage.
Police closed southbound Jamboree Road between Kelvin Avenue and Main Street for about two hours following the accident.
