3 Killed in Baker Car Crash on 15 Freeway near Halloran Springs Road
Baker, California – Three people, including two children, were killed in a car accident that happened on Saturday afternoon in Baker.
The tragic collision happened on the 15 Freeway near the Halloran Springs Road off-ramp at around 1:45 p.m., according to the San Bernardino County Fire Department.
A black Mercedes-Benz SUV collided head-on with another SUV on the freeway in unclear circumstances.
Authorities say two children died at the accident scene and a third person died while being transported to Barstow Community Hospital.
Four people were hospitalized with critical injuries while three others were transported to the hospital with less severe injuries.
