Mountain Pass, California – Three people were killed in a car crash that happened on Friday evening near Nipton in San Bernardino County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 4:18 p.m. on the 15 Freeway near Yates Well Road.
A 2015 Toyota Camry and a second car were involved in the crash. The sequence of events leading up to the accident was not immediately established.
Two people in the Camry were found unresponsive and were pronounced dead at the accident scene.
A third person was also killed in the accident.
The names of the victims were not immediately disclosed.
