Calaveras County, California – Three people were killed in a head-on collision that happened near Copperopolis in Calaveras County on Friday evening.
The accident was reported around 7:09 p.m. on Highway 99 at Vista Point, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 2020 Honda reportedly collided head-on with a 2020 Lexus in unclear circumstances.
Three people were pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Six other people were injured in the accident and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
