Bakersfield, California – Three people were killed in a car accident that happened near Wasco on Monday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 4:30 p.m. on Elmo Highway at Scofield Avenue.
A gray Toyota Corolla and a gray Ram pickup truck were involved in the collision. The circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately determined.

One other person was injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
