3 Seriously Hurt in Fresno County Crash on Highway 180
Fresno County, California: Three people sustained serious injuries in a head-on collision that happened Friday night on Highway 180 in Fresno County.
The wreck was reported around 9:11 p.m. near Shasta Avenue.
The California Highway Patrol said a silver car was traveling eastbound on the highway, and a black pickup truck was going westbound when the two vehicles collided head-on in the eastbound lane.
The cause of the accident was not immediately determined.
Three people were taken to the hospital with major injuries, one by air ambulance.
The pickup truck driver sustained minor injuries and refused transportation.
CHP officers are investigating the cause of the collision.
