3 Seriously Injured in Menifee Car Crash

Menifee, California: Three people were hospitalized with major injuries after a traffic collision that happened Monday night near an intersection in Menifee, the Menifee Police Department reported.

The wreck occurred around 10:31 p.m. near Menifee Road and Camino Cristal.

First responders found a Nissan Altima and a Hyundai Accent involved in the collision.

The Hyundai was occupied by a 64-year-old Menifee man, and the Nissan was occupied by a 17-year-old Menifee girl.

A 23-year-old Sacramento man was ejected from the Nissan.

All three parties suffered serious injuries in the accident. The patients were taken to the hospital. Both men were listed in critical condition Tuesday, and the girl in stable condition.

Investigators said the Nissan was traveling south on Menifee when the driver lost control and drifted into oncoming traffic, colliding with the northbound Hyundai.
