4 Hospitalized After Pomona DUI Crash on 71 Freeway
Pomona, California: Four people were hurt when a DUI suspect crashed into a tow truck Monday night in Pomona, authorities said.
The collision occurred at about 10:45 p.m. on the 71 Freeway near Mission Boulevard.
The California Highway Patrol said a driver suspected of intoxication struck a tow truck in the northbound lanes.
The force of the crash sent the tow truck into the center divider and into the southbound lanes.
Four people sustained unspecified injuries in the collision. The patients were hospitalized in unknown condition.
CHP is investigating the accident.
