Four People Injured in Cajon Pass Crash on Interstate 15 near Kenwood Avenue Off-Ramp
4 Injured After Pickup Truck Hits Stopped SUV on I-15 in Cajon Pass
Cajon Pass, California: Four people were hurt in a two-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday morning on Interstate 15 in Cajon Pass, authorities said.
The accident was reported around 7:07 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the interstate just about a mile after the Kenwood Avenue exit.
Investigators said a white Chevrolet HHR SUV pulling a trailer was stopped on the right shoulder of the interstate when a red pickup truck veered off the roadway and hit the Chevy.
The pickup truck landed on top of the hillside.
The California Highway Patrol and the San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the scene.
Four people were injured. One of them sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and the other three suffered minor injuries.
Authorities said at least one person was standing outside of the Chevy at the time of the collision.
