4 Injured in Boat Accident on Navy Property near Point Loma
Point Loma, California: Four people were injured in a boat crash early Friday morning near Point Loma, the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department said.
At around 2 a.m., SDFD received reports of the crash from the U.S. Navy at 140 Sylvester Road.
Emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene.
It was unclear what type of boat was involved, but the fire department said it was a watercraft.
Four people were transported to UC San Diego Medical Center in Hillcrest with injuries ranging from needed basic medical care to requiring either CPR or treatment for major trauma.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
