4 Injured in Suspected DUI Crash Involving Work Truck in Tonopah
Tonopah, Arizona: Four people were hospitalized after a traffic collision involving a work truck that happened Wednesday morning on Interstate 10 in Tonopah.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety said the wreck took place near milepost 88 near Salome Highway.
Investigators said a driver believed to be impaired was speeding when they struck a construction work truck stopped on the side of the road.
The DUI suspect was hospitalized with serious injuries.
The occupants of the truck were also hospitalized with minor injuries. It was unclear whether the victims were working at the time of the accident.
The eastbound traffic lanes remained closed as authorities investigated. The lanes were reopened around 9 a.m.
