Temecula, California – Four people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Friday afternoon in Temecula.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 1:48 p.m. on southbound Interstate 15 Freeway near Rancho California Road.
Two SUVs and two sedans were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established. One SUV overturned after the collision.
Riverside County Fire Department crews arrived at the scene and transported the driver of the overturned SUV to the hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
Three occupants of the other vehicles were hospitalized with minor to moderate injuries.
