4 Killed in Tuolumne County Crash on Bonds Flat Road

Tuolumne County, California: Four people were killed in a head-on traffic collision that happened Friday afternoon in Tuolumne County.

The California Highway Patrol said the collision occurred around 5:09 p.m. on Bonds Flat Road.

According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling northbound at high speeds when it collided head-on with a Toyota Highlander traveling in the opposite direction.

The Chevrolet was occupied by a male driver and two female passengers, all in their 50s and 60s.

The Toyota was occupied by a woman.

All four occupants of the vehicles died in the crash.

The family of the woman driving the Toyota identified her as 33-year-old Janelle Hall. They said she was driving home from Sonora at the time of the collision.

Authorities did not mention the cause of the collision.

Investigators closed the road for about three hours following the accident.
