4 Women Hospitalized After Crash on Hwy 246 in Santa Ynez
Santa Ynez, California: Four women were hospitalized after two vehicles collided Monday afternoon on Highway 246 in Santa Ynez.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck was reported around 4:45 p.m. at the intersection with Cuesta Street.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found a white Lexus and a black Lexus involved in the accident.
A woman in one of the cars was extricated from the wreckage and airlifted by Calstar medical helicopter to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
Three other women from the other vehicle were taken by AMR ambulance to the same facility. Two sustained moderate injuries and one minor injuries.
CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
