47-Year-Old Modesto Man Killed, 4 Hurt in Riverbank Car Accident on Highway 108 and Snedigar Drive
Riverbank, California – A head-on collision left a 47-year-old man from Modesto dead and four others hurt on Sunday evening in Riverbank, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly crash occurred at around 6:15 p.m. on November 10, on Highway 108, west of Snedigar Drive.
Police said the 47-year-old man was in a Ford van and he crossed the double yellow lines for unknown reasons before crashing head-on into an approaching 2024 GMC pickup truck.
The Ford driver was killed in the collision.
The pickup driver and their three passengers sustained injuries ranging from minor to severe degree. The four were taken to the hospital for treatment.
It was not clear if alcohol or drugs contributed to the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.

Sacramento County, California: Two people were seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Thursday afternoon at an intersection in Antelope.
According to the Sacramento Metro Fire District, the accident occurred around 1:50 p.m. at Antelope and Roseville roads.
Three vehicles collided, trapping two occupants in the wreckage.
Firefighters responded to the scene and freed the victims. The patients were taken to the hospital with major injuries.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.

Irvine, California: 65-year-old Kenneth Joseph McLeod died after he collided with a car while riding a motorcycle Wednesday afternoon at an intersection in Irvine.
The accident was reported around 4:50 p.m. at Alton Parkway and Foster.
Investigators said McLeod was riding a motorcycle southbound on Alton when he ran a red light at Foster and crashed into a Tesla turning left from northbound Alton onto westbound Foster.
The Tesla had a green light at the time of the crash.
McLeod died at the scene from the injuries he sustained in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.

Woman on Motorized Wheelchair Hit and Injured by Car in Victorville
Victorville, California: A woman riding a motorized wheelchair was injured when she was hit by a car Thursday morning at an intersection in Victorville.
The accident was reported around 8:48 a.m. at Roy Rogers Drive and Amargosa Road.
Victorville police, firefighters, and AMR responded to the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
A man driving a black Nissan was found at the scene but it was not clear if he was the driver involved in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
