Five Hurt in 2-Car Crash on Silverado Trail and Zinfandel Lane in St. Helena
St. Helena, California – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a traffic collision involving two vehicles on Saturday afternoon in St. Helena.
The deadly crash occurred at around 4:30 p.m. on October 19 at Silverado Trail and Zinfandel Lane.
33-year-old Tapa Mallick of Milpitas was driving a 2024 Hyundai Tucson SUV on the Silverado Trail when she attempted to turn onto Zinfandel Lane and crashed into a 2002 Ford F-150 pickup heading southbound on the Silverado Trail.
The Ford driver was identified as 48-year-old Daniel Prada.
Mallick, Prada and three Hyundai passengers sustained minor injuries and were transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital and the Queen of the Valley Medical Center.
An investigation is ongoing.
