Merced, California (May 1, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle accident that injured five people on Saturday night in Merced.
The collision occurred at about 9:10 p.m. on April 29 at M Street and West 23rd.
According to the Merced Fire Department, three cars were involved in the accident. The crash caused the Toyota Tacoma to slam into a tree, trapping the driver inside.
Five individuals suffered injuries and were transported to a medical center for treatment.
