Fresno, California – At least five people were injured in a traffic collision that happened at an intersection in Fresno on Sunday evening.
The crash was reported around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Floral and South Alta avenues, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Chevy Malibu failed to stop at a stop sign on South Alta Avenue and was struck by another car.
The impact of the collision caused the Malibu to roll into a nearby canal, ejecting one person.
Two people were airlifted to the hospital.
Three other people were transported to the hospital by ambulance.
