Healdsburg, California – Five people were hospitalized after being injured in a chain-reaction collision near Healdsburg on Wednesday evening.
The accident was reported at around 6 p.m. on the northbound Highway 101 at Dry Creek Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Chevrolet Tahoe, Nissan Rogue, a pickup truck and at least two other vehicles were involved in the collision, but the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
A total of five people were injured in the crash. Three victims suffered major injuries and at least one of them had to be airlifted to the hospital.
