Gilbert, Arizona: Five people were injured in a multi-vehicle accident that happened Sunday afternoon in Gilbert, Gilbert police said.
The pileup occurred around 12:15 p.m. at E. Germann Road and S. Higley Road.
First responders found multiple vehicles involved in the collision.
Five people, including one with serious injuries, were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The area was closed for an extended period during an investigation.
