6 Hospitalized After Union Gap Accident on Interstate 82 near Milepost 38

Union Gap, Washington – Six persons were hospitalized following a rollover collision on Saturday evening in Union Gap.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the crash happened at around 5:45 p.m. on July 6, on Interstate 82 near milepost 38.

Police said a 2000 Chevy Tahoe was heading eastbound on Interstate 82 when it drifted off the highway, overturned, and crashed into a westbound Subaru Legacy.

The Tahoe driver, a 73-year-old Wapato woman and her four passengers, and the Subaru driver were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Officers did not suspect alcohol or drugs to have contributed to the collision.

The incident remains under investigation.
