6 Injured in Granada Hills Car Crash

Granada Hills, California: Six people were injured, including one who got trapped in the wreckage, after a multi-car accident that happened Wednesday afternoon in Granada Hills.

The Los Angeles Fire Department said the pileup was reported just after noon in the 13200 block of North Sepulveda Boulevard.

Firefighters and other emergency personnel responded to the scene and found one person trapped in the wreckage.

The firefighters freed the victim, only identified as a man aged 50-60, and transported him to the hospital in critical condition.

Two other patients were hospitalized in serious condition.

Paramedics treated the other three patients at the scene.

At least two cars acquired major crash damage.

Police did not mention the cause of the collision.
