7 Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Accident at Northridge Intersection
Northridge, California: Nine people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened late Monday morning at an intersection in Northridge.
Just before noon, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to Dearborn Street and Corbin Avenue, where four vehicles were involved in a crash.
The firefighters found an overturned car, two other vehicles crashed into one another, and a fourth vehicle off the roadway crashed into a tree.
Multiple people were evaluated at the scene for injuries. Seven patients were taken to hospitals by ground ambulances with non-life-threatening injuries. Two others declined transportation to the hospital.
The cause of the crash was not immediately determined, but an investigation is ongoing.
