Seven People, Including Three Juveniles, Hospitalized After Phoenix Car Accident near 51st Avenue and McDowell Road

7 Injured, 4 Critically, in 2-Car Crash in Phoenix

Phoenix, Arizona: Seven people, including three juveniles, were injured in a two-car collision that happened Monday evening near an intersection in Phoenix.

According to the Phoenix Fire Department, the wreck was reported around 6 p.m. near 51st Avenue and McDowell Road.

Authorities said two cars collided for an unknown reason.

Two occupants had to be extricated from their cars.

Seven people were hospitalized for their injuries. A man in his 40s was hospitalized in extremely critical condition, and another man also in his 40s was hospitalized in critical condition. A woman in her 30s was hospitalized in critical condition, and another woman also in her 30s was hospitalized in stable condition. A teen girl was in stable condition, a female child in critical condition, and a male child in stable condition.

Police officers are investigating the cause of the accident.
