7 Injured in Baldwin Hills Crash on Potomac Avenue near Obama Boulevard

Los Angeles, California – At least seven people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision near Baldwin Hills in South Los Angeles on Monday evening.

At around 4 p.m., the Los Angeles Police Department responded to the scene of a car crash in the 3500 block of Potomac Avenue near Obama Boulevard.

Officers reportedly attempted to pull over the driver of a BMW, but the motorist failed to yield.

The BMW’s driver ran a stop sign at the intersection and crashed into another car, causing a chain reaction crash involving two other cars. The impact of the collision caused the second car to flip over in the front yard of a nearby home.

Seven people were injured in the accident and were transported to the hospital for treatment.

The driver of the BMW stayed at the scene and was arrested.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
