7 Students Injured in Crash in La Habra
La Habra, California: At least seven students were injured in a car accident that happened Wednesday afternoon at an intersection in La Habra.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the incident took place around 1:40 p.m. at N. Palm Street and E. La Habra near Sonora High School.
Authorities said a group of students were standing on the sidewalk when two cars collided at the intersection.
One of the cars jumped the curb and hit the students.
At least seven of the students and one of the drivers were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Police said impairment is not believed to be a contributing factor but one of the drivers may have run a red light, leading to the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
