Man Dies in Manteca Motorcycle Accident at Louise and Hacienda Avenues
Manteca, California – A 40-year-old man died after being involved in a motorcycle accident in Manteca on Tuesday afternoon.
The Manteca Police Department said the accident was reported around 3:45 p.m. at Louise and Hacienda avenues.
The motorcyclist was traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed when he crashed into a turning vehicle.
The rider then crashed into a light pole and knocked it down.
The rider sustained critical injuries and was taken to hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
The name of the deceased was not released pending notification of the family.
More details about the accident were unavailable.
The crash remains under investigation.

According to the Sacramento Metro Fire District, the accident occurred around 1:50 p.m. at Antelope and Roseville roads.
Three vehicles collided, trapping two occupants in the wreckage.
Firefighters responded to the scene and freed the victims. The patients were taken to the hospital with major injuries.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.

Irvine, California: 65-year-old Kenneth Joseph McLeod died after he collided with a car while riding a motorcycle Wednesday afternoon at an intersection in Irvine.
The accident was reported around 4:50 p.m. at Alton Parkway and Foster.
Investigators said McLeod was riding a motorcycle southbound on Alton when he ran a red light at Foster and crashed into a Tesla turning left from northbound Alton onto westbound Foster.
The Tesla had a green light at the time of the crash.
McLeod died at the scene from the injuries he sustained in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.

Woman on Motorized Wheelchair Hit and Injured by Car in Victorville
Victorville, California: A woman riding a motorized wheelchair was injured when she was hit by a car Thursday morning at an intersection in Victorville.
The accident was reported around 8:48 a.m. at Roy Rogers Drive and Amargosa Road.
Victorville police, firefighters, and AMR responded to the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
A man driving a black Nissan was found at the scene but it was not clear if he was the driver involved in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
