Abel Corza Killed in Los Molinos Car Accident on Highway 99 near Palm Street
Los Molinos, California – 35-year-old Abel Corza of Redding has been identified as the man who died in a head-on collision near Los Molinos on Friday morning.
The fatal accident happened in the area of Highway 99 and Palm Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Corza was driving a 2015 Nissan Sentra northbound on Highway 99 when he drifted into the southbound lanes and collided head-on with a 2019 Volkswagen Jetta driven by Kirk Brown, 54, of Redding.
Corza was transported to Enloe Hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
Brown was seriously injured and was transported to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital.
The Red Bluff CHP Office is investigating the crash.
