Alex Calderon Identified as Man Killed in Mesa Accident at Sycamore and Southern Avenues
Mesa, Arizona – Police have identified Alex Calderon, 23, as the motorcyclist killed in a traffic accident on Friday night in Mesa.
The crash occurred at about 9:50 p.m. on June 15, at Sycamore and Southern Avenues.
According to authorities, Calderon was riding his motorcycle when he collided with a Mazda SUV that was turning left at the junction.
Calderon was partially pinned under the Mazda following the collision.
Emergency crews rushed Calderon to the hospital where he died.
The Mazda driver and their passenger sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
No other information concerning the crash was provided.
The incident remains under investigation.
