Anahid Sarkissian Dies After Pedestrian Accident at Olive Avenue in Burbank

Burbank, California – Police are investigating a deadly pedestrian accident that killed Anahid Sarkissian, 76, on Friday afternoon in Burbank.

According to a police report, the collision occurred at about 4:30 p.m. on June 28, at Olive Avenue and Glenoaks Boulevard.

Per the dispatch, Sarkissian was struck by a DUI driver identified as 64-year-old Vincent Carnegie.

Sarkissian sustained critical injuries and was declared dead at the crash site.

Carnegie was arrested and booked into the Burbank City Jail for vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
