Anthony Dearo Killed in Lake Balboa Crash on Saticoy Street
Los Angeles, California – Anthony David Dearo, 37, of Camarillo, has been identified as the man who died in a car crash on Tuesday morning in the Lake Balboa area of Los Angeles.
The accident happened at around 9:45 a.m. in the 17300 block of Saticoy Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A blue Lexus RC and a 2021 white Toyota Tacoma collided on the highway in unclear circumstances. The impact of the collision caused the Tacoma to crash into a tree and a commercial building, damaging a natural gas meter.
Dearo, a resident of Camarillo, was driving the pickup truck and was killed in the accident.
The woman driving the car was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
