Anthony Marrufo Killed in Santa Clarita Crash on SR 126 near Chiquito Canyon Road
Santa Clarita, California – 38-year-old Marco Anthony Marrufo was killed in a multi-vehicle collision last week Friday in Santa Clarita.
The fatal collision happened on Highway 126 near Chiquito Canyon Road at around 5:30 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A pickup truck was leaving the Chiquita Canyon Landfill when it collided with a 1999 Ford F-150 traveling west on Highway 126.
The vehicles continued eastbound after the initial collision and collided with two additional vehicles.
Marrufo, a resident of Piru, was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The driver of the vehicle that was leaving the landfill was hospitalized with unknown injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
