Anthony Scott Killed in Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 116 near Old Adobe Road
Petaluma, California – Anthony Scott, 63, has been identified by the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office Coroner Unit as the man who died in a car crash on Tuesday evening in Petaluma.
The fatal crash was reported around 7 p.m. on Highway 116 near Old Adobe Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Sebastopol man was driving a blue Chevrolet Camaro westbound on the highway when he crashed into an eastbound Freightliner box van that drifted into the westbound lanes.
The Freightliner reportedly sideswiped a westbound 2016 Lexus IS200 and collided head-on with the Camaro before it struck a 2018 Jeep Patriot.
Scott was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The drivers of the Jeep and the Lexus were transported to Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
The moving van driver was unhurt.
