Modesto, California – Anton Cooley, 44, died after being hit by a car in Modesto on Friday evening.
The fatal collision accident happened near the intersection of College and Bowen Avenues at around 5:30 p.m., according to the Modesto Police Department.
Cooley was crossing College Avenue and was struck by a car.
The Modesto man died at the accident scene.
Police say the Modesto woman driving the Honda stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the authorities.
