Arthur Temple III Killed in Lakeland Village Crash on Grand Avenue near Perret Boulevard

Lakeland Village, California – 56-year-old Arthur Temple III has been identified as the Lake Elsinore man who died in a car crash on Sunday afternoon in Lakeland Village.

The fatal crash happened at around 3:15 p.m. in the 17600 block of Grand Avenue near Perret Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The man was driving a 2006 Honda Accord northbound on Grand Avenue when he reportedly made an unsafe turning movement and drove the wrong way in the southbound lanes before colliding head-on with a parked 2015 Isuzu box truck.

The impact of the collision caused the parked truck to crash into the rear of a second parked box truck occupied by a 26-year-old San Bernardino man and a 40-year-old Corona man.

Arthur died at the accident scene.

Both men in the second truck suffered minor injuries in the accident.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
